Privacy Notice

This text is a template. It must be reviewed and approved by EFC Education and its legal advisor before publication.

Under the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (“KVKK”), EFC Eğitim Danışmanlık (“EFC Education”), as the data controller, processes the personal data you share through the contact form on our website as described below.

2. Data we process

• Identity: your name
• Contact details: your email address and phone number
• Your request: the program you are interested in and anything you write in your message

Please do not include sensitive data such as health, religion or ethnic origin in your message.

3. Why we process it

We use your data to reply to your request, answer your questions, tell you about suitable study options and arrange a meeting. We do not send you marketing messages without your explicit consent.

4. How we collect it and legal basis

Your data is collected electronically through the contact form on our website. It is processed on the legal grounds of KVKK Art. 5/2(c) (directly related to entering into a contract) and Art. 5/2(f) (necessary for our legitimate interests, provided this does not harm your fundamental rights and freedoms).

5. Sharing

Your data is shared only with the email service provider we use to deliver form messages to us. It is not shared with anyone else, except with authorised public authorities where the law requires it. If the provider’s servers are located abroad, the transfer is made in line with KVKK Art. 9.

6. How long we keep it

Form messages are kept for no more than 2 years after your request is closed, and are then deleted, destroyed or anonymised. If you sign a consultancy contract with us, your data is kept for the periods required by law.

7. Your rights (KVKK Art. 11)

• Learn whether your personal data is processed
• Request information about the processing
• Learn the purpose of processing and whether data is used accordingly
• Know the third parties in Türkiye or abroad to whom data is transferred
• Ask for incomplete or incorrect data to be corrected
• Ask for your data to be erased or destroyed under KVKK Art. 7
• Ask that corrections or erasures be notified to third parties who received the data
• Object to a result against you arising solely from automated analysis
• Claim compensation for damage caused by unlawful processing
